So, as it turns out, I have been missing out a whole bunch by not looking around. This website is brimming with interesting and welcoming folk. And the variety is splendid!

That seems like a reasonable idea. As you said, the variety here is quite remarkable.
You may, or may not, find my 'Favourites' helpful. One of yours, Running Away by KokoKiero, is in that selection: rather deeply buried by now.
I update the 'Favourites' about once a day. Whether or not it is useful depends partly on how closely my tastes match yours.
